MIITO a next germination kettle has been launched over on Kickstarter this month that has been created to heat the water directly in your drinking vessel, removing the need for a separate container to boil water that then has to be poured out.
MIITO has been designed to provide users with a super adaptable device that can heat a variety of liquids directly in the vessel of your choice, watch the video below to learn more.
The developers of MIITO explain more about their inspiration to create the next generation of kettle

This quote by Leyla Acaroglu during her 2014 TED Talk inspired us as designers and innovators to rethink the electric kettle. Here at MIITO we love a good cup of tea, but let’s face it: traditional kettles are wasteful. In order to make a simple cup of tea, you end up overfilling the kettle. This wastes energy and water and also means you have to wait longer for it to heat up. We set out to change this by eliminating the electric kettle completely and replacing it with MIITO.
MIITO is simply but intelligently designed to heat any liquid directly in a vessel while cutting down on excess water and energy usage.”
The MIITO project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
