If your family PC is looking a little long-in-the-tooth and has seen better days, you might be interested in a new system called the MiiPC, pronounced ‘Mee-PC’, which has been developed to be the next generation of family PCs.
The MiiPC has been developed by ZeroDesktop and has just launched onto Kickstarter looking to make the jump from concept to production.
MiiPC is a compact personal computer which has been designed to run Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, which has been optimised for use with large screen displays.
“Connecting MiiPC to a computer monitor (or TV) and instantly turn it into a learning, media and entertainment station. It is designed for large screen connectivity and optimized to provide a true keyboard and mouse experience.”- “Our mission is to create a simple and effective way for families to take back control of online experiences, letting MiiPC create a safe and relaxed environment for your family computing”
The MiiPC project is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think MiiPC is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help MiiPC become a reality.
