After first being unveiled back in August of this year the very unique Microbot Push button and switch remote controls have now finally launched by the Indiegogo crowdfunding website, looking to raise $50,000 to make the jump into production.
The small Microbot Push devices have been designed to be easily positioned near already existing manual light switches or any other switch that maybe on an appliance or somewhere else in your house or office.
Enabling it to then be controlled remotely using the companion application on your smartphone or tablet. Watch the video below for a more detailed explanation of how these new robotic finger devices function and how they can be used to help automate your smart home even further.

The developers of Microbot Push explain a little more about the inspiration and design of their new revolutionary button pressing device :
Look around. Notice how many buttons surround you? You press them regularly: to turn something on or off, to play or pause, to send or receive, to answer or dismiss. Buttons and switches are the simplest forms of user interfaces. So simple that about every device will have one. We created Microbot Push to connect these buttons and switches to the Internet. We all know, once you connect something to the Internet — magic happens.
Microbot Push is a wireless robotic finger that can push most ordinary buttons just like a human finger does. The idea is simple: Microbot Push attaches on buttons that operate particular features on a device. Since then, you can control these functions remotely using your smartphone or computer.
