A majority of OEMs — both Chinese and the well known ones — have released their flagship devices for the year. Samsung has launched the Galaxy S5, while HTC is done with the One M8. Even Xiaomi announced their Mi4 handset which will go on sale later in the coming days.
Meizu is one of those left to announce their latest flagship device, the Meizu MX4, which we’ve heard about a few times in the past few weeks. According to a new rumor, Meizu may launch its upcoming Meizu MX 4 on September 2nd, a few days before IFA 2014 kicks off in Berlin.
The upcoming Meizu MX4 is rumored to come with top-of-the-line specifications on board. Rumors suggest the alleged handset may launch with the latest Samsung Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM and LTE connectivity. There’s no word about the screen size, but it should come with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat with Meizu’s Flyme UI on top of it. It’s also said to come with a 20MP camera on the back for photos and videos.
There’s no official confirmation as of now, so a grain of salt is recommended. We’ll update you as soon as we get more information about the Meizu MX4.
