Maserati has unveiled the completely restyled Quattroporte range. The new car will launch in June 2016 and will sport a new front bumper with a matte black profile in the front and a matte black extractor in the rear. Maserati says that despite being completely restyled, the car still has the recognizable Quattroporte looks.
The car has an electrically adjustable Air shutter fitted in the front grille between the air vents and the engine radiator. The shutter allows control of the engine fluid temperature and along with optimized front and rear bumpers, air conveyor, and a flat bottom the aerodynamic drag is improved by 10%.
Inside the car gets a new capacitive 8.4-inch screen with multi touch capability. The audio system gets rotary knobs for volume and function. The center console also gets a new lid and a phone storage compartment. The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Both GranLusso and GranSport models will be offered. Engine options include gas and diesel V6 engines with the GTS version getting a twin-turbo V8 making 530hp sourced from Ferrari. That V8 can push the 4-door car to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.
