This week Wunderlist the now Microsoft owned task management service has rolled out a new update to its Wunderlist Android application bringing with it support for Google’s latest Marshmallow operating system.
The latest Android Wunderlist also brings with it a brand-new design and user interface as well as streamlining the detail view to let users be able to easily see Subtasks, Notes, Files, Due Dates and Comments.
The new update also brings with it the ability to add new tasks directly from the notification bar. The developers at Wunderlist explain a little more :
Today we’ve brought our new design to Android. From the Home View to the Detail View we’ve completely redesigned the look of your fav app to make it sleeker and even more intuitive. But that’s not all–there’s much, much more. Read on to see what else is new and click that Update button if you haven’t already.
Update Now A brand new look The first thing you’ll notice after updating Wunderlist for Android is how easy it is to see everything at a glance. We’ve minimized your avatar so that you can quickly and easily see more of what you want to see–your lists! Now head into the Detail View…
Busy sending an email or chatting to a colleague when you realize that you forgot to do something very important? We are making it easier and easier for you to add your to-dos while you work. First things first, tap on your avatar in Wunderlist to take you to Settings > Account > Notifications and enable Quick Add Notification. Now that you’ve got that out of the way, you can start adding to-dos straight from your notification bar.
