Anyone who works in an open office and is constantly interrupted with colleagues asking questions and offering distractions, may be interested in a new productivity device that has been created by the Draugiem Group called the Luxafor.
Luxafor takes the form of a LED light that is attached to your workstation computer and quickly notifies your colleagues of your availability and also notifies you of important incoming information.
The LED indicator light can either be attached to your computer via a USB cable or using Bluetooth connectivity and offers a green light to show that you are available and a red light to show when you do not want to be disturbed.
Together with an automatic mode that you can connect to your favourite productivity application changing light automatically according to your software settings. A notification mode within Luxafor will also flash green when a new email, calendar reminder or anything else that you have marked for your attention arrives. Currently support productivity apps include codealike, Desktime, RescueTime and OfficeTime.
The LED productivity light also provides customised modes allowing you to create rules based on your personal preferences. Watch the video below to learn more about this useful productivity tool that is the perfect addition to your open workspace environment.
