We are tech lovers, passionate skaters and e-mobility experts. We put our heads together to create a board with Swiss quality and engineering that would be a viable, alternative mode of transportation to appeal to the skater inside of you. We wanted to be in love with the ride. We wanted to have an electric board we could be passionate about and we wanted to take it with us everywhere.
With our experienced and dynamic team, it turned out that creating the technology for the board was the easy part. The development of hiding the battery in the deck, creating the ability for replaceable wheels and creating the smart phone app all went smoothly. But naming this new beloved invention proved to be our biggest challenge. How could we give such a great new concept in transportation an ordinary name? The name should be strong, electric, fast, cool, trendy, easy to say, easy to spell, multicultural etc. etc.
Lou combines what we know about great skate design with the latest electric technology, providing the lightest, fastest and best ride on the market today. At first glance, Lou is just another pretty face because she looks and feels like your favorite skateboard but she is so much more. Look inside Lou… Lou is the revolutionary board to get you where you are going, go for a cruise, or practice some tricks. Lou combines effective transportation with the freedom of skateboarding.
