Lockheed-Martin & IronKey have joined forces to create a new Virtual Privacy Machine IronKey that runs solely in RAM and can use any networks on the host computer. The VPM is remotely manageable and can be completely cleaned and shutdown from a central server. The contents of the Ironkey are hardware, and optionally 256-bit software encrypted for extra security.
As the VPM Ironkey runs in RAM all personal files and data never leaves the USB stick and once removed on trace is left on the host PC. Unfortunately there is no news on pricing and availability at the moment but the VPM Ironkeys will have a minimum of 8GB of storage.
