The new Litl Box has been designed by Yves Behar’s Fuseproject the creators of the Litl webook and is designed to help convert your TV into a fully functional web browser.
The Litl box uses Litl’s own OS system and is consists of a powerful OS box that connects to the Web and feeds Internet content to the TV via HDMI and a touch screen remote control. Pictured below.
The remote control has two modes a touchscreen that can be used to navigate web channels and apps and a slide out qwerty keyboard similar to a smart phones to allow emailing and interaction with text.
The Litl OS is going to be open to developers to design and create applications hopefully providing a more direct path content.
