Jill MacKay has designed an innovative way to be able to add bright little LED lights to almost anything by creating the Liteseeds LED Stickers.
MacKay has launched her LED stickers over on the Kickstarter crowdfunding website with the aim of raising $8,000 over the next 30 days.
Watch the video below to see how the tiny, bright, little Liteseeds LED stickers can be easily and safely step to almost anything and combined with conductive ink or other circuits.
They are tiny LED stickers that have conductive adhesive on the back, so just peel and stick instead or wires and soldering. Great for paper computing, DIY and lighting up general and paper crafts.
– you They work with new conductive materials like conductive ink & paint and with old conductive material like copper tape.
– They are powered by a 3V coin battery. We think it is pretty magical to be able to draw circuits and easily light them up with Liteseeds LED stickers. We think you will too!
IT IS PERFECTLY SAFE. Given, we do not want you or your children to eat any Liteseeds so we suggest ages of 12 and up with adult supervision and adults you will love them too! If you can draw a line (and it doesn’t even have to be straight!) and peel the backing off a sticker you can make a simple circuit and have it light up! In the main video you saw me using AgIC’s conductive ink marker on glossy photo paper with Liteseeds. Below is a rough homemade video on how to draw a simple circuit using conductive ink pen (Circuit Scribe) with Liteseeds.
