Libratone has this week unveiled a new addition to its range in the form of the Libratone Zipp Mobile AirPlay speaker, which can be wrapped in a colourful woollen cover of your choice.
The Zipp speakersupports direct AirPlay connections using Libratone’s own PlayDirect WiFi technology, and doesn’t require a wireless network to connect to your iPhone or iPad tablet.
Its also fitted with Libratone’s “360-degree sound” system, combined with a digital amp and dual ribbon tweeters. Together with a battery that will provide you with up to eight hours of playback on a single charge.

The Libratone Zipp is available in a variety of colours and is now ready to purchase for $399 from the Libratone website, and will be arriving in Apple stores next month.
