LG has scheduled an event on September 6th in San Francisco for the launch of the upcoming LG V20 handset.
The details about the upcoming handset were a little scarce until now. A new report reveals what the upcoming LG V20 may have to offer to its users.
Specifications and Features
Just like its predecessor, the alleged LG V20 is expected to come with top-of-the-line specifications on board. The device will feature a 5.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, ensuring a crisp and vibrant viewing experience. Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU paired with 4GB of RAM, which should provide ample power for multitasking and running demanding applications smoothly.
The handset is also rumored to feature a 21MP camera for photos and videos, promising high-quality images and video recording capabilities. Additionally, the LG V20 is expected to include a dual camera setup, which could offer enhanced photographic features such as improved depth sensing, wide-angle shots, and better low-light performance.
Software and Build Quality
As far as the operating system is concerned, it’s already confirmed that the LG V20 will come with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed out of the box. This means users will benefit from the latest features and improvements that Nougat has to offer, including enhanced notifications, split-screen multitasking, and improved battery life through Doze on the Go.
The build quality of the LG V20 should also be similar to the LG V10, offering users a premium look and design. The V10 was known for its robust construction, featuring a stainless steel frame and a durable back cover. It is expected that the V20 will continue this trend, possibly incorporating high-quality materials and a sleek design to appeal to users looking for both aesthetics and durability.
In addition to these features, the LG V20 may also come with other enhancements such as improved audio quality, possibly through the inclusion of a high-fidelity DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter). This would be a significant selling point for audiophiles and users who prioritize excellent sound quality in their smartphones.
Furthermore, the LG V20 is likely to support expandable storage via a microSD card slot, allowing users to increase the device’s storage capacity to accommodate more apps, photos, videos, and other media. This feature is particularly useful for users who require a lot of storage space but do not want to rely solely on internal storage.
Another aspect to consider is the battery life. While specific details about the battery capacity are not yet available, it is expected that the LG V20 will come with a sizable battery to ensure it can last through a full day of usage. Additionally, the device may support fast charging technology, allowing users to quickly recharge their phone and get back to using it without long wait times.
We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more about the upcoming device.
