LG’s new LG V10 smartphone comes with the company’s new UX 4.0+ and now LG has released a new video showing off their new user interface.
In the video below we get to have a look at the design and some of the features in the new UX 4.0+ for the LG V10.
Innovative Dual Display
The LG V10 is a new smartphone that features dual displays, which is one of its most innovative features. On top of the standard display, there is a smaller 2.1-inch display that has a resolution of 1040 x 161 pixels. This secondary display is designed to provide quick access to notifications, shortcuts, and other essential information without interrupting your main screen activities. It can be customized to show different tools and apps, making multitasking more efficient and user-friendly.
The main display on the handset measures 5.7 inches and it has a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This high-resolution screen ensures that images and videos are displayed with stunning clarity and vibrant colors, making it ideal for media consumption and gaming.
Powerful Performance and Storage
Under the hood, the LG V10 is powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor and 4GB of RAM. This combination ensures smooth performance and the ability to handle multiple applications simultaneously without any lag. Whether you’re gaming, streaming videos, or running productivity apps, the V10 is built to deliver a seamless experience.
Other specifications on the handset include a microSD card slot for extra storage and 64GB of included storage. The microSD card slot allows users to expand the storage up to an additional 2TB, providing ample space for photos, videos, apps, and other data. This is particularly useful for users who need a lot of storage for their media files and applications.
Advanced Camera Capabilities
The LG V10 is equipped with impressive camera technology. The rear camera on the V10 is a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). OIS helps to reduce blur and improve the quality of photos and videos, especially in low-light conditions. The camera also supports manual mode, allowing users to adjust settings such as shutter speed, ISO, and white balance for more creative control over their photography.
The front camera is a 5-megapixel camera with a dual lens. This dual-lens setup allows for wider-angle selfies, making it easier to capture group shots and more of the background in your photos. The front camera also includes features like gesture shot and beauty mode, enhancing the overall selfie experience.
Software and Connectivity
The handset comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which includes a range of features and improvements over previous versions of the operating system. The UX 4.0+ interface adds additional functionality and customization options, making the user experience more intuitive and enjoyable.
Connectivity options on the LG V10 include LTE-A, WiFi, and Bluetooth. LTE-A provides faster data speeds for browsing, streaming, and downloading, while WiFi and Bluetooth ensure reliable connections for various devices and accessories. The phone also includes NFC (Near Field Communication) for contactless payments and easy pairing with other NFC-enabled devices.
The LG V10 is a feature-packed smartphone that offers innovative dual displays, powerful performance, advanced camera capabilities, and extensive storage options. Its combination of hardware and software features makes it a versatile device suitable for a wide range of users, from media enthusiasts to productivity-focused individuals.
