LG has announced that their Optimus One Android smartphone seems to be some what of a success with over 1 million of the Optimus One sold in the first 40 days since it went on sale.
The LG Optimus One features Google Android 2.2 Froyo, it also features a 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, there is also a digital compass a G Sensor.
Other features on the Optimus One include a proximity sensor, a built in FM Radio, a 3 megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and it comes loaded with a range of Google services which includes, Google Voice Search, Google Goggles and many more.
LG are making the Optimus One available in more markets with more carriers, which is bound to increase sales, it will be available on Verizon Wireless in the US from tomorrow.
