Last week LG announced their new LG Optimus L Series smartphones, which included the LG Optimus L7 and L5, and now we have a video of these two new Android smartphones in action.
The LG Optimus L7 II features a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 processor clocked at 1GHz, there is also 768MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage, plus a microSD card slot for expansion. This allows users to add up to 32GB of additional storage, making it easier to store more apps, photos, and videos without worrying about running out of space.
Display and Camera Features
Other specifications on the LG Optimus L7 include a 4.3-inch WVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The IPS technology ensures better viewing angles and more accurate color reproduction, making it ideal for watching videos and browsing photos. The device comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which offers a smooth and responsive user experience, along with features like Google Now and improved notifications.
The LG Optimus L7 II is equipped with a VGA front-facing camera, which is suitable for video calls and basic selfies. On the rear, it boasts an 8-megapixel camera that includes autofocus and LED flash, allowing for decent quality photos even in low-light conditions. The camera app also includes various modes and settings, such as panorama and continuous shot, to enhance the photography experience.
Performance and Battery Life
The LG Optimus L5 II will come with a Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1GHz and will feature a PowerVR SGX531 GPU. This combination ensures that the device can handle everyday tasks such as web browsing, social media, and casual gaming with ease. The 4-inch WVGA display offers a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, providing clear and sharp visuals for its size.
Running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, the LG Optimus L5 II benefits from Project Butter, which makes the user interface more fluid and responsive. The device also includes a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, which is capable of capturing decent photos and videos. Although it lacks a front-facing camera, the rear camera compensates with features like touch focus and geo-tagging.
Battery life is an important aspect of any smartphone, and both the LG Optimus L7 II and L5 II come with removable batteries. The L7 II is equipped with a 2,460mAh battery, which should provide enough power to last through a full day of moderate use. The L5 II, on the other hand, comes with a slightly smaller 1,700mAh battery, which is still sufficient for its hardware and display size.
The LG Optimus L Series offers a range of features and specifications that cater to different user needs. The L7 II, with its larger display and better camera, is suitable for those who prioritize media consumption and photography. Meanwhile, the L5 II provides a more compact and affordable option for users who need a reliable smartphone for everyday tasks. Both devices benefit from the enhancements brought by Android Jelly Bean, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable user experience.
