Google will release to new Android smartphones as part of their Nexus range this year, the LG Nexus 5 and the Huawei Nexus 6.
We have already heard quite a lot about these two smartphones over the last few month and now we have some more information on when they will be available.
According to a recent report, Google will start taking pre-orders on the LG Nexus 5 and Huawei Nexus 6 on the 13th of October, the news comes from Talk Android who have received some information on the launch of the handsets.
The LG Nexus 5 is rumored to come with a 5.2 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device is expected to feature Qualcomm’s hexa core processor, the Snapdragon 808 and 3GB of RAM.
Other rumored specifications on the Nexus 5 include a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of included storage, plus the new USB Type-C connector and a 2700 mAh battery. The handset will also come with a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 12.4 megapixel rear camera.
The Huawei Nexus 6 is rumored to come with a 5.5 or 5.7 inch display which will feature a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The handset will be powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and will probably comes with 4GB of RAM.
There are no details on what cameras the device will come with, but we would expect a slightly higher resolution than the Nexus 5.
Both handsets will come with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Nexus 5 is expect to retail for around $300 and the Nexus 6 around $500, as soon as we get some more details on these new Nexus handsets, we will let you guys know.
