The new LG G5 smartphone is now official and we have all the details on LG’s latest Android handset, the device is LG’s first modular smartphone.
The LG G5 comes with a 5.3 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM.
For storage the handset is equipped with 32GB and it also features a microSD card slot which takes up to 2TB cards, there is also a 2,800 mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The device comes with an 8 megapixel front facing camera and dual rear cameras, the dual camera setup is made up of a standard 16 megapixel camera and a a wide angle 8 megapixel camera. The device also comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, quick charging and USB Type-C.
The handset is a modular smartphone and it has optional accessories like the LG Cam Plus, which is camera accessory that is attached via the battery slot, this basically turns the handset into a full digital camera with physical camera buttons.
Another new accessory which has been developed with B&O Play is the LG HiFi Plus, this is a Hi-Fi DAC audio player designed to provide high end sound.
LG have not revealed any details on pricing as yet for the new LG G5, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
