LG has announced the global roll out of its new LG G4 smartphone, and the device will start shipping in a number of countries this week.
The LG G4 will launch in Hong Kong first and will then be rolled out to Turkey, Russia, Singapore, and more European countries, plus the US, CIS, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Central America.
Innovative Features of the LG G4
The LG G4 is packed with innovative features that set it apart from other flagship smartphones on the market. One of the standout features is its camera. The G4 boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, which allows for stunning low-light photography. Additionally, the camera includes a color spectrum sensor, which improves color accuracy and white balance, making your photos look more natural and vibrant.
Another notable feature is the G4’s display. The smartphone is equipped with a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum Display, which offers 20% greater color reproduction, 25% improvement in brightness, and 50% greater contrast compared to the previous LG G3. This makes for an incredibly vivid and sharp viewing experience, whether you’re watching videos, playing games, or browsing the web.
Design and Build Quality
The design of the LG G4 is also a major selling point. The device features a slightly curved design, which not only makes it more comfortable to hold but also adds a touch of elegance. The back cover of the G4 is available in several finishes, including genuine leather, metallic, and ceramic, allowing users to choose a style that best suits their personal taste.
Under the hood, the LG G4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. This combination ensures smooth performance, whether you’re multitasking, gaming, or running demanding applications. The device also comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot, providing ample space for all your apps, photos, and videos.
“The LG G4 is our most ambitious smartphone yet because it is unlike any other flagship mobile phone on the market today,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our vision is to create our own set of standards without worrying about what trend other smartphones are following. We think we have a winning formula because the initial reaction to the G4 has been tremendously positive.”
Battery Life and Software
Battery life is another area where the LG G4 excels. The device is equipped with a 3,000mAh removable battery, which provides enough power to get through a full day of heavy use. The fact that the battery is removable is a rare feature in modern smartphones, giving users the flexibility to carry a spare battery if needed.
On the software front, the LG G4 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, with LG’s custom UX 4.0 interface on top. The UX 4.0 interface offers a range of useful features and enhancements, such as Smart Bulletin, which aggregates important information and notifications in one place, and Quick Shot, which allows you to take photos quickly by double-tapping the rear key.
LG has not announced any pricing for their new G4 smartphone. As soon as we get more details and also an exact launch date for various countries, we will let you guys know.
