LG has announced another version of their G4 smartphone, the LG G4 Beat and the handset comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 423ppi.
Processing on the new LG G4 Beat is provided by an octa core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and there is also 1GB of RAM.
“Too often, mid-tier phones sacrifice overall usability in order to include that one killer feature,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our goal with the LG G4 Beat was to create a phone that was not only well- balanced in terms of display, camera, performance and design but delivered terrific value and satisfaction.”
For storage the new LG G4 Beat is equipped with 8GB built in, there is also a microSD card slot for extra storage and a 2,300 mAh battery.
The handset comes with a 5 megapixel front facing camera, on the back there is an 8 megapixel camera with Laser Auto Focus, certain Latin American markets will get a different version of the handset with a 13 megapixel rear camera.
Connectivity comes in the form of 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, A-GPS, USB 2.0 and Glonass, the device will come with Andr4oid 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The new LG G4 Beat will launch in Europe and CIS regions as the LG G4 S and in other countries as the G4 Beat, as yet there are no details on pricing or an exact release date for the device.
