The new LG G2 is now official and we have all the details and specifications on this new high end Android smartphone from LG. The LG G2 features LG’s new 5.2 inch full HD IPS display that comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 423 pixels per inch.
The LG G2 is powered by a quad core 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of LPDDR3 800MHz RAM, and a choice of 16GB or 32GB of built in storage.
The G2 features front and rear facing cameras, on the front of the handset we have a 2.1 megapixel camera for video chat, on the back there is a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization.
The LG G2 measures 138.5mm by 70.9mm by 8.9mm thick, it will be available in a choice of either black and white. It comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and features a 3,000 mAh battery.
On the back of the handset is the volume button and power button just below the camera, and the device comes with a range of features like Answer Me, which lets you answer an incoming call by lifting the handset to your ear.
The LG G2 will go on sale with over 130 wireless carrriers around the world, the handset will launch in South Korea first, followed by the US and Europe, launch dates will vary depending on the country.
