LG has today announced that their new LG G2 smartphone will be arriving in Canda via through Bell, Rogers, SaskTel, Telus, Videotron and Wind Mobile.
The LG G2 smartphone is equipped with a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS offering a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels / 423 ppi and is powered by a 2.26GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor supported by 2GB LPDDR3 800MHz RAM.
However no mention of prices or packages has been revealed as yet by LG or any of the carriers that will be stocking the new LG G2 smartphone. Geoffrey McMurdo, Vice President Mobile Communications, LG Canada explained:
“In developing the LG G2, we listened to and learned from what consumers were telling us they wanted in a premium smartphone,”-“LG G2 features a unique design with an ultra thin display bezel and innovative rear key, intuitive user experience and time saving innovations. Through our strong carrier and retail partnerships, our most exciting and ambitious mobile phone, the LG G2 will be available to Canadians nationally this fall.”
Other features of the LG G2 include 2.1 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 13 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs, a 3,000 mAh battery and 32GB of internal storage all running Google’s latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
