Lewihe has this week launched a new 3D printer kit it has created that is priced at just €69 or $77 and takes the form of the Play 3D printer, that has been designed for both personal and educational use.
The Lewihe Play is equipped with all the components to create the case and and offers a build volume of 105 x 105 x 130 mm in size. But you will need to provide the motors an power supply together with a few essential components such as a hot end and pulleys and gt2 belts to name a few.
“Makers edition, do it yourself and choose your components. Mount with or without heat bed, whatever electronics, extruder or hot end, it’s your choice!”
The 3D printer uses 1.75 mm printing filament and it has the ability to print rigid and elastic filaments and is compatible with almost all extruders and hot ends. Software that can be used with the Lewihe Play includes Cura, Repetier, Pronterface, Octoprint and more and 3D Model file types supported include : STL, GCode, OBJ.
