As well as launching the Ideapad S10-3t Tablet Netbook, Lenovo has launched a new smartbook, the Lenovo Skylight Smartbook.
The Lenovo Skylight Smartbook features a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and a 10.1 inch LCD display, plus a custom Linux based OS with built in web gadgets for easy access to services like Gmail and Facebook.
Other specifications include a battery which will give you an impressive ten hours of usage, and built in WiFi plus 3G connectivity. There is also a full keyboard, and as you can see from the photos the device is a lot thinner than a netbook.
The Lenovo Skylight Smartbook will be available in April for $499 without a data contract, and AT&T will also be offering the Lenovo Skylight Smartbook at a subsidized price on a monthly data plan.
There are no details as yet on when we will see the Lenovo Skylight Smartbook in the UK and Europe.
