Microsoft has announced two new partners for Windows Phone, Lenovo and Xiaomi and both companies will be releasing Windows Phone devices later this year.
Lenovo Windows Phone devices will be available in the middle of the year with China Mobile, these could be Windows Phone 8.1 devices as Windows 10 for Phones is launching in the summer.
Xiaomi will also be launching Windows Phone devices later in the year and it looks like these will be Windows 10 smartphones.
Through a new program with Xiaomi, one of the top smartphone distributors in the world, a select group of Xiaomi Mi 4 power users will be invited to help test Windows 10 and contribute to its future release later this year. These power users will have the opportunity to download the Windows 10 Technical Preview – installing it and providing their feedback to Microsoft.
As soon as we get some more details on these new Windows Phone devices from Lenovo and Xiaomi, we will let you guys know.
