Drivers in Italy might feel like they can get away from the normal cars that the Italian Highway Patrol offers. If you see the highway patrol’s latest patrol car in your rear view mirror, you should just pull over. Lamborghini held a special ceremony where it delivered a Huracan outfitted in Polizia colors complete with flashing lights to the Italian Highway Patrol.
The car will be patrolling the roads in Bologna, Italy where Lamborghini is based. The car is fitted to be a real patrol car with a gun holster, portable fire extinguisher, police radio, computer, camera, and other equipment. Power comes from the “normal” Lamborghini 5.2L V10 engine making 610hp.
The car is also outfitted for duty as an emergency medical vehicle and is equipped to transport blood, organs, and provide first aid. The front luggage compartment has a refrigeration system and the car is fitted with a defibrillator.
