Lamborghini has rolled out a special edition Aventador meant to pay homage to the iconic Miura. The special Aventador is a 50th anniversary tribute to the Miura. Lamborghini plans to make 50 of the special edition Aventador Miura Homage Special Editions. The 50 units will reflect the colors and specifications of the original Miura models.
This means the upper body will be in one color with a contrasting sill in another color. Six of the most classic color combinations were selected for the homage models including Rosso Arancio Miura (solid color), Verde Scandal (solid), and Blu Tahiti (metallic). The car also gets special 20 or 21-inch rims in matte gold or silver with metallic Miura badges on the sides.
Inside the homage, cars can be had with Nero Ade or Terra Emilia leather with tone-on-tone stitching and the carbon fiber package is standard. The engine used in the Miura homage cars is the same 6.5L V12 making 700hp and 690nm of torque. The car rockets from a standstill to 62mph in 2.9 seconds. There is no word on pricing or availability of the Miura Homage Aventador at this time. Often special edition Lamborghini models are sold out before they are announced and this could be the case with this model.
