The new Koenigsegg Jesko was announced at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, the car will be the world’s first 300 miles per hour production car and it looks like it has already sold out.
There are going to be just 125 of the Jesko made and each one costs $3 million, all have now been sold, production of the car will start in 2020.
At the heart of this newly designed engine is the world’s lightest production V8 crankshaft. Weighing just 12.5 kilos, Koenigsegg’s new flat-plane 180-degree crankshaft allows Jesko to produce more power with greater efficiency, while achieving a higher 8500rpm rev limit.
