Knut a new wireless sensor has arrived on Kickstarter this week, and has been designed to provide you with an easy way to monitor environments. From the humidity in your basement to the temperature of your home or aquarium.
The Knut system is capable of connecting multiple sensors and will email alerts and notifications when set parameters are met. Knut is easy to program and setup and does not require an subscription fees. Watch the video after the jump to see a demonstration.
To view data from Knut can be exported as a .csv file allowing to analysis the data at any time. Knut spends most of its time asleep, waking now and again to check and record the status of all connected sensors.
“Knut has a high accuracy temperature sensor and a battery level sensor built in. If you want to monitor more than just temperature, you can connect an external sensor or multiple sensors using the 3-port hub. Currently we have functional humidity, vibration, door, water proof temperature, and water presence sensors. “
The Knut design is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think it is something you could benefit from, jump over to the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Knut become a reality.
