Design and Aesthetics
Created for long-distance driving, the SPORTSPACE has been designed for fast and efficient travel with maximum comfort and minimal stress, in the best grand touring tradition of the weekend getaway.
The design of the Kia Sportspace Concept is a testament to Kia’s commitment to innovation and style. The car’s sleek lines and aerodynamic shape are not just for show; they contribute to its efficiency and performance. The front fascia features Kia’s signature tiger-nose grille, flanked by sharp, angular headlights that give the car a bold and aggressive look. The rear of the car is equally impressive, with a sculpted tailgate and integrated exhaust outlets that add to its sporty appeal.
Interior and Comfort
Designed at Kia’s Frankfurt design studio, under the direction of Gregory Guillaume, Chief Designer Europe, the SPORTSPACE features a unique and captivating body shape. The car is born out of a commitment to provide stylish and exciting transportation for four which is also spacious and functional, without sacrificing the performance, sustainability, and economy that Kia is known for.
The interior of the Kia Sportspace Concept is designed with the driver and passengers in mind. The cabin is spacious, offering ample legroom and headroom for all occupants. High-quality materials are used throughout, including leather upholstery and soft-touch plastics, ensuring a luxurious feel. The dashboard is dominated by a large touchscreen infotainment system that provides access to navigation, entertainment, and vehicle settings. Advanced driver-assistance systems are also expected to be part of the package, enhancing safety and convenience.
Performance and Sustainability
While Kia has not yet released specific performance figures for the Sportspace Concept, it is expected to feature a range of efficient and powerful engines. Given Kia’s focus on sustainability, hybrid and electric powertrains may also be part of the lineup. The car’s lightweight construction and aerodynamic design will likely contribute to its fuel efficiency and overall performance.
The new Kia Sportspace Concept certainly looks very interesting from the photos, and it promises to be a compelling addition to Kia’s lineup. We will have more details about the car when it is made official next month.
