The Apple Watch is apparently supposed to be waterproof to the IPX7 standard, this means that it should be able to be submerged in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.
Now we have a video from the guys over at FoneFox who have tested out just how waterproof the Apple Watch is.
As we can see in the video below, the device was tested in a shower, submerged in a bucket and worn in a swimming pool.
Whilst Apple says that the watch can only be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes, it looks like the device may be considerably more waterproof than Apple suggests.
Of course if you use your Apple Watch for swimming and something happens to the device, the Apple warranty may not cover any damage.
