We have been hearing rumors for some time that Apple’s iPhone is headed to US mobile carrier T-Mobile, the company currently supports Apple’s iPhone but doesn’t sell it to its customers.
According to a recent report by Reuters, Apple’s iPhone will be headed to T-Mobile within the next few months, the news comes from T-Mobile CEO, John Legere, who told Reuters that the device would land on their network sooner rather than later.
“They’re all, I would call them, in three to four months as opposed to six to nine months, Legere told Reuters in an interview at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
So it look like Apple’s iPhone will be available with T-Mobile in the next three to four months, which would mean that T-Mobile must have finally reached a deal with Apple to sell the iPhone.
As yet we do not have a specific launch date for the iPhone on T-Mobile, and it isn’t clear as yet whether T-Mobile will be offering the iPhone 5 only or whether they will offer the cheaper iPhone 4S as well, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
