Previous rumors have suggested that this years iPhone 8 would come with a glass back and front and that the chassis of the device would be made of metal.
As the existing iPhones are made out of aluminum we expected the chassis on the new model to be the same material, although Apple may use something different for the iPhone 8.
According to a recent report from Digitimes, Apple will use stainless steel for the metal chassis on this years iPhone, Apple will apparently use a metal forging to make the chassis on the new iPhone.
We previously heard that there would be three new iPhone 8 handsets this year, a 4.7 inch model and two 5.5 inch versions, one of which will come with an OLED display.
Apple ate expected to launch their new iPhones some time in September of 2017, as soon as we get some more details about the new smartphones, we will let you guys know.
