We have heard a number of specifications for the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones and according to a recent report, the new handsets may drop the 16GB model.
The current iPhone 6 and 6 Plus come with a range of storage options which include 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, Apple may change this in the new iPhones.
The news comes in a report from Mic Gadget, who have apparently received some information from an insider at Foxconn.
Apple are reported to drop the 16GB model and instead just offer three storage options, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, of course this is just a rumor at the moment.
The new iPhones are expected to get updated displays and Apple’s Force Touch, the iPhone 6S is rumored to come with a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device will also come with Apple’s new A9 processor.
Other rumored specifications on the iPhone 6S include an new 12 megapixel 4K capable rear camera and a new 1080p FaceTime camera on the front. We are expecting Apple’s new handsets to launch in September along with iOS 9 and also the new iPad Pro.
