Adam Padgett has created a new IoT device in the form of a smart energy monitor and controller designed specifically for businesses. The cellular-based energy and device Monitor can report outages on devices such as a single light bulb or more complicated appliances with remote device on and off control provided.
“This is a Smart IoT device for Businesses to help drive energy cost down and maintenance efficiency up through the uses of event-based reporting, polling, sensors, relay controllers and mesh technology while utilizing low-cost cellular (average $5 monthly per location) for ease of configuration with always-on secured functionality.”
Smart Energy Monitor IoT Device demonstrated :
“Built-in battery backups enable notifications and data to continue polling for several days without power. Reporting and analytics will be available in the web platform by company, location, device category, and device. Access to the web platform can given to global or individual levels. The database design and back-end functionality has been coded to be fluid and scalable to support any type of sensor or controller that adds value based on business requirements and demand.”
