Although reports suggest iOS 7.1.1 comes with Touch ID improvements, but it seems it may not be the case. A new video has surfaced which shows how easy it can be to bypass the lockscreen, even if its protected by a pass code, using Siri.
The video shows how Siri can let you access the contacts lists of the device, and even make calls or send SMS without even unlocking the device.
It doesn’t matter if you have the Touch ID enabled or pass code set up, any can get access to contact list of the device. Just access Siri on the lock screen and ask her to open the contacts, well, she’s not that kind for this and will ask you to unlock your device. However, if you ask her to call a specific person, she will let you, and even give you access to the contact list.
To protect yourself from this bug, make sure you disable Siri from the lock screen.
Here’s a video showing the video in action.
