Soon a new E Ink tablet will be launching via Kickstarter in the form of the InkBook Infinity 10.3, which allows users to sketch and take notes on a device fitted with a capacitive touchscreen offering 227 pixels per inch. The included stylus can be used for writing or drawing, and the InkBook Infinity tablet is powered by an NXP i.MX6 Solo Lite processor supported by 1GB of RAM and equipped with 8GB of storage. The on-board storage can be expanded further with the use of microSD cards up to 32GB in size.
Connectivity is provided by support for Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless 802.11n standards. ArtaTech the creator of the E Ink tablet has also fitted a 3,000 mAh battery providing a substantial power supply when compared to whether E Ink writing tablet currently on the market created by manufacturers such as Sony and Onyx.
