Incipio, a popular accessory maker, has released a NFC-enabled mobile wallet case dubbed as Cashwrap for iPhone, and comes with ISIS Mobile wallet support for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S.
The case can used to store your existing debit and credit cards, so you can make seamless purchases using your handset at participating stores.
If you’re wondering about the security of your credit/debit card details, Incipio said they’re stored on a tampered chip that resides inside the case, and makes it secure. Additionally, the case managed to get “Made for iPhone” certification from Apple, along with ISIS Mobile Wallet, and a few others.
“The Cashwrap™ Case sets the standard for secure contactless payments for iPhone 5 and 5s and we are thrilled to deliver a product with superior protection that offers the convenience of Near Field Communication technology to iPhone users across the country,” said Valentine Lopez, Executive Vice President, Incipio.
ISIS Mobile Wallet lets users pay at leading retail locations using their smartphones. The application is available on Android, and doesn’t require a case as Android smartphones comes pre-equipped with NFC, which is not currently present in the iPhone.
The Cashwrap case is available for sale online, and will AT&T stores on January 31st for $69.99 and includes a secure element microNFC and Micro-USB cable. The case is available in three different color combinations: Black/Black, Pink/Gray and White/Gray.
