The new Ikea Smart Lighting launched in the UK back in March and Ikea has announced that it is new TRÅDFRI smart lights range will work with multiple platforms.
Ikea has revealed that their new smart lighting will be compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and also Apple HomeKit.
During the summer and autumn brings IKEA the next step toward the smart home. Through increased functionality, the IKEA range of smart lighting for use with Amazon, Apple, Google and Alexa HomeKit Assistant, which means that one can voice control of their lighting.
“We think the technology of smart home should be available to all. Therefore, we continue to ensure that our products work together with others on the market, “says Jeanette Skjelmose, head of lighting and IKEA Home Smart. In the coming years, there will be more launches to build out their solution for a smart and connected home.
Ikea will add support for Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit to their smart lighting range some time this summer.
