Here is an interesting application from South Korean company Zentium called the iKat. The iKat is an augmented reality application that works without a marker, you just point you phone at any environment and the iKat is displayed in the environment on your phone.
Check out the video of it in action below to see how it works, it certainly looks very cool, and would have a number of possibilities to be developed further.
The iKat is based on Zentium’s D-Track software, check out the video below which shows the D-Track software in action.
Very cool I wonder what sort of applications we will see in the future developed using this technology.
