“I drew inspiration for i-Ready-O from old school analog radios you used to see in old movies from the 50’s and 60’s. Especially analog radios from Braun Manufacturing Corp. and their famous designer, Dieter Rams.
If you look at the face of the radio, at the left of the device is a red button for your iPhone’s Home button. The two buttons at the upper right device allow direct control of the volume as well. One of the charms you’ll enjoy while using our radio is the well constructed physical buttons on our device.
It’ll give you that old school radio button feel, while using a modern iPhone. The area above the Home button that’s slightly skewed out allows easy swipe access to your phones control center. This allows easy access to your iPhone’s main functions without disruption or the need to take the phone out of the shell.”
The i Ready O project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise $60,000 in pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
