The Ferrari LaFerrari is a hybrid sports car that was produced in limited numbers and now it looks like the super car maker has more plans for hybrid Ferrari’s.
Ferrari has plans to bring hybrid power to more of its range, the news was announced by the company’s CEO Sergio Marchionne during a recent conference call with investors.
The company plans to start to introduce hybrid Ferrari’s to its main range from 2019, the first car to have a hybrid power plan could possibly be the successor to the F12 which is expected in 2020.
The car maker is expecting to increase production of hybrid super cars between 2020 and 2025, you can see what the company’s CEO had to say below.
“Although I neither commit to this nor do I give any sort of certification of it being our objective, it is possible that the [annual sales] number could be well in excess of 10,000 cars in 2025,” said Sergio Marchionne.
