Boombotix has once again taken to the Kickstarter crowdfunding website to launch its latest creation in the form of the Hurricane DJ system. Which is equipped with its own artificial intelligence to help learn your music tastes during different times of the day.

Boombotix explains a little more about the inspiration behind the Hurricane DJ hardware as well as the current state of their Kickstarter project.
This project has more complexity than any other product we’ve ever built. It requires integrating a mobile app on Android, iOS and an onboard software piece. We’re also working with a number of 3rd parties on content and technology integrations which raises executional risk.
Given where our current prototype is, we feel confident we are able to move past these challenges. Our hardware will still need to go through Spotify’s hardware approval process, but we are in regular communication with their team on meeting all of the specs.
We are also in the middle of delivering the remainder of our last project with Hybrid Audio headphones. Thankfully we are at the tail end of this delivery and most customers have provided strong words of encouragement on the product quality and our execution.
