As well as announcing the new LG Nexus 5X, Google also announced another new Nexus smartphone, the Huawei Nexus 6P.
The new Nexus 6P comes with a 5.7 inch AMOLED display that has a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the handset is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
The device comes with an Adreno 430 GPU and features 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, there are also three storage options on the device, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, the handset also comes with a fingerprint sensor.
The new Huawei Nexus 6P comes with an 8 megapixel front facing camera with 1.4 µm pixels and an f/2.4 aperture, the rear camera on the device is a 12.3 megapixels with 1.55 µm pixels and an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera also comes with IR Laser assisted focus and it can record 4K video at 30 frames per second.
The new Nexus 6 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and also features a 3450 mAh battery, which has a fast charge feature that will give you up to 7 hours of usage from a 10 minute charge.
Connectivity comes in the form of LTE Cat 6, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and GPS, the handset will be available in three colors, Aluminium, Graphite and Frost and it is available to pre-order from the Google Store, prices for the handset start at $499.
