Huawei Honor 5X is set to enter the US market later this month, but the mid-range handset is also landing on European shores in the coming weeks.
Huawei Honor 5X is already listed on company’s Vmall, Huawei’s European online store, but there’s no price tag attached to it at the moment. As for the launch, there’s a countdown timer on it which hints that Huawei Honor 5X will hit retail in Europe on February 4th.
If you sign up on the product page on Vmall, you’ll get a £20, €20, or CHF 20 based on your country of residence, off the handset. If you decide to purchase the handset, you’ll get an additional £10, €10, or CHF 10 off your next purchase.
The handset boasts a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, a Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot for expansion. Other features includes a 13MP main camera, 5MP front-facing camera, a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop as its operating system out of the box. The company has assured that it will get the Android Marshmallow update in the coming months, but there’s no exact availability date known at the moment.
