These features work together to provide sharp, clear photos even in low-light conditions. Additionally, the camera supports 4K video recording, allowing users to capture their favorite moments in stunning detail.
Performance and Storage Options
The HTC U 11 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is known for its high performance and energy efficiency. This processor, combined with the Adreno 540 GPU, ensures that the device can handle demanding applications and games with ease. The two available RAM and storage configurations (4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage) provide users with options to choose based on their needs. The higher RAM and storage option is ideal for power users who require more memory for multitasking and additional storage for apps, photos, and videos.
The device also supports expandable storage via a microSD card slot, allowing users to add up to 2TB of additional storage. This feature is particularly useful for those who need extra space for media files and large applications.
Design and Build Quality
The HTC U 11 boasts a sleek and modern design with a glass front and back, and an aluminum frame. The device is available in a variety of colors, including Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black, Ice White, and Solar Red. The glass back features a liquid surface design that reflects light beautifully, giving the phone a premium look and feel. The device is also IP67 certified, making it dust and water-resistant, which adds to its durability and practicality for everyday use.
Software and Additional Features
Running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the HTC U 11 offers a smooth and user-friendly experience. The device comes with HTC’s Sense UI, which provides additional customization options and features. One of the standout features of the HTC U 11 is the Edge Sense technology, which allows users to squeeze the sides of the phone to perform various actions, such as launching the camera, taking a screenshot, or opening an app. This innovative feature adds a new level of convenience and functionality to the device.
