HTC’s latest smartphones, the HTC One X and HTC Evo 4G LTE have been held by US customs over the last week which has delayed the launch of both smartphones.
The HTC devices had been held by customs after an ITC ruling which said that HTC’s handsets running Android infringed on Apple’s patents, although the devices in question were running a modified version of Android to get round the issue.
Now HTC has announced that some of the devices which have been held in customs have started to be released, although they did not provide any details on which handsets this applied to.
We still do not have any information on when the HTC One X and HTC Evo 4G LTE will launch in the US, as soon as we get some more details on their actual launch dates we will let you guys know.
