HTC has released a software update for their HTC One M9 smartphone that brings a number of performance improvements to the device.
The update for the HTC One M9 is designed to improve the camera on the handset, which changes to things like auto exposure balance, reduced noise in low light and more.
As well as improvements to the camera the software update also brings improved battery life, specifically when running apps like YouTube and Facebook.
On top of that there is also some improvements to Heat Management with a new Smart charging thermal improvement which is designed to keep the device cooler whilst it is being charged.
The latest update for the HTC One M9 comes in the form of software versions 1.40.401.5 and it has been released in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, it should be coming to the US later this month.
