Last week we heard a rumor that HTC were working on a HTC One Google Edition smartphone, the news came after Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 Google Edition at Google’s I/O developer conference.
HTC have denied that they have any plans to launch a HTC One Google Edition smartphone, the handset would come with stock Android, and now it appears there is more evidence of the device’s existence.
It is possible that the HTC One Google edition could be released this summer, and apart from running stock Android, the device would share the same specifications as the existing HTC One.
The HTC One comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and it features a 4.7 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 468 pixels per inch, processing is provided by a quad core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor.
Other specifications on the HTC One include 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of built in storage, it also uses HTC’s new Ultrapixel camera, which features an f/2.0 lens.
