We have been hearing a lot about the new HTC One A9 over the last few weeks, the handset is now official and we have all the details and specifications on HTC’s latest Android smartphone.
The HTC One A9 is equipped with a 5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The handset is HTC’s first smartphone to come with the new version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the device is powered by a 64-bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor.
Other specifications on the new On A9 include a choice of storage and RAM options, there is one model with 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, the other model comes with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM, both handsets are also equipped with a microSD card slot which supports up to 2TB cards.
The handset measures 145.75 x 70.8. x 7.26 mm and it weighs in at 143g and it comes with a range of different sensors which include a fingerprint sensor, there are also dual cameras with a HTC Ultrapixel camera on the front and a 13 megapixel rear camera with a sapphire lens, BSI and auto focus.
Connectivity comes in the form of 4G LTE, dual band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1, there is also a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset comes with a 2150 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0.
As we can see from the photos, the device shares a very similar design to Apple’s iPhone, the handset will retail for $399.99 unlocked and it will be available in a range of colors which will include Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Deep Garnet and Topaz Gold.
